About Staged By Design

I'm about all things home and have been drawn to enhancing the home experience my whole life starting with my childhood dreams of becoming a mom, teacher, and an interior decorator. I finally got started on my dreams at college where I obtained a degree in Interior Design and then settled down with my husband and became a mom to three beautiful and talented kids. We decided to homeschool our kids and during those years, I did not lack in "home" creativity and in accomplishing my dreams. We quickly turned our garage into a dance studio where I became a dance teacher. A little later, I spent two years teaching piano and music, including developing my own music curriculum and teaching for two public charter elementary schools. Once my kids were a little older, I went back to school to get my home staging certification and started my Staged By Design business where my heart feels right at home. I also developed a home staging master class, became CE certified, and have enjoyed teaching Realtors and homeowners the when's why's and how's of home staging. 

As a family, we also started a freeze drying candy business we call Sweeten The Deal, and have been having a lot of fun with that.

I also love to cook and bake and work with sourdough, and I post recipes periodically on my Instagram and Facebook pages at stagedbydesign.leesa.

One of the highlights of our "home" experiences has been designing and building personal custom and semi-custom homes from the ground up and then continuing to design and build "built-ins" for our own homes and for client's homes.
